1. What data we collect
- Account data (such as email and profile name) used for sign-in and account management.
- User content including meal-plan prompts, preferences, and generated meal-plan history.
- Body diary and goal images that users upload to estimate body-fat percentage and track progress over time.
- App usage and diagnostics data required to monitor reliability, quotas, and service quality.
2. How data is collected
Data is collected when users type prompts, upload photos, update profile fields, generate plans, use body-diary tools, or contact support.
3. How we use data
- Generate personalized diet plans and refinements.
- Analyze progress/goal images to provide non-medical body-composition estimates.
- Store user history so plans and diary entries remain available across sessions.
- Protect app security, enforce usage limits, and improve app reliability.
4. Third-party processing and sharing
Daiet shares necessary user content with third-party processors only for app functionality:
- Google Gemini: processes prompt text and image inputs to generate meal plans and body-related AI outputs.
- Firebase / Google Cloud: stores user content, history, and related app data.
Daiet requires explicit in-app consent before transmitting user prompts or photos for AI processing.
5. Data retention
By default, Daiet retains user cloud data until the user deletes specific items, requests full data deletion, or deletes the account.
6. Data deletion
Users can delete data in two ways:
- In-app: use Delete all my Daiet data from settings/account screens to remove cloud meal plans, diary entries, and uploaded images.
- Support request: email us if you need help with deletion or account-related privacy requests.
7. Your choices and rights
- Review or withdraw AI consent in app settings at any time.
- Request deletion of your cloud data.
- Delete your account from the app.
8. Security
We use platform and cloud security controls designed to protect user data. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
